The Challenge
The client wanted a website that truly represented their unique identity, blending their orthodontic practice with the owner’s passion for mountain biking. They envisioned a site that felt dynamic and in motion, reflecting the energy and enthusiasm they bring to their work. To achieve this, I designed a website that incorporated movement through interactive elements and smooth transitions, creating a sense of flow. The design also drew inspiration from mountain biking, using bold lines, natural textures, and earthy tones to evoke the outdoors, while still maintaining a professional and approachable feel that aligned with their orthodontic expertise. The result was a unique and engaging website that captured both the practice’s professional focus and the owner’s personal passion.
The Solution
The client provided a large collection of photos, and I carefully sifted through them to select images that best showcased their love for mountain biking. I used these photos creatively to illustrate the owner’s passion, integrating them into the website design in dynamic ways. To bring the concept of movement to life, I employed various design techniques such as parallax images, animations, and sliders. These elements gave the site a sense of energy and flow, making it feel as though it was constantly in motion. By blending the imagery with interactive features, I was able to create a visually engaging experience that reflected both the client’s professional and personal interests.
